Second opinion · Strategy and decisions

A second opinion on your strategy — before it becomes a commitment.

The Audit Room provides an independent human second opinion on strategic decisions such as market entries, repositioning, product bets and major investments. You share the strategy paper, board deck or decision memo. An experienced reviewer stress-tests its assumptions and logic and tells you, in writing, what your team may not be saying out loud.

What gets reviewed

01

Core assumptions

The few beliefs the whole strategy rests on, named explicitly, with how well each is supported.

02

Logic from situation to decision

Whether the recommendation follows from the analysis, or whether the conclusion came first.

03

Options left out

Alternatives the paper does not consider, including doing less, doing it later or not doing it at all.

04

Failure modes

Assume it is a year from now and this has failed. What are the most likely reasons, and are they addressed?

05

Numbers and consistency

Targets, budgets and timelines checked against each other and against the capacity to deliver them.

06

Clarity for the decision body

Whether a board or investor can understand the decision, the risks and what they are being asked to approve.

Why an outside view

The most honest opinion is rarely in the room.

Inside teams, opinions anchor early, hierarchy shapes what gets said, and everyone has something to protect. AI assistants add another voice that tends to agree.

An independent second opinion has no agenda, no politics and no reason to soften the verdict. It costs a fraction of a wrong decision.

The process

How it works

  1. Step 1

    You submit your work

Upload your project confidentially — from early concepts and pitch decks to websites, campaigns, interfaces or AI-generated creative work.

  2. Step 2

    I provide a second opinion

Every submission is reviewed independently by a person, not by an automated scoring system.

  3. Step 3

    You receive your audit

Concise observations, blind spots and strategic feedback designed to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence and reassurance.

FAQ

Questions about strategy second opinions

How is this different from hiring a consultant?

A consultant develops the strategy with you. The Audit Room reviews what you have and gives an independent verdict, with no follow-up project to sell. That independence is the point.

Can you review before a board meeting at short notice?

Yes. Delivery times start once payment is confirmed and the material is complete: 24, 48 or 72 hours depending on the format, counted on business days.

How much context do you need?

The document the decision body will see, plus a few sentences on the decision ahead and what worries you. You can add these in the order form.

Is the material kept confidential?

Yes. A mutual NDA covers every order. Files are stored encrypted, seen only by the reviewer and never used as a reference or to train AI models.

Which format fits a strategic decision?

Deep-Dive for most strategy papers and board decks. Executive for decisions with major financial or reputational impact, or investor-facing material.

Test the decision before it tests you.
