Second opinion · Brand and communication

A second opinion on your brand and communication — before it goes public.

The Audit Room gives marketing leaders and founders an independent second opinion on brand positioning, campaigns, websites and key messages. An experienced brand strategist reviews whether the work is clear, distinctive and consistent, and where the audience is likely to misread it. You receive a written audit before launch.

What gets reviewed

01

Positioning

Whether the brand claims something specific, relevant and ownable, or something any competitor could say.

02

Message clarity

Whether the core message lands in seconds, in the words the audience actually uses.

03

Consistency

Whether website, campaign, deck and visual identity tell the same story in the same voice.

04

Audience fit and misreadings

How the intended audience is likely to read it, including the interpretations nobody on the team considered.

05

Visual identity and hierarchy

Whether design supports the message: focus, contrast, readability and what the eye sees first.

06

Risks

Claims that are hard to substantiate, tone that could backfire and details that invite the wrong kind of attention.

Why a second opinion

Everyone involved is too close to the work.

Agencies defend their concept, internal teams have lived with it for months, and AI-generated brand work looks plausible but often says little.

A second opinion from an experienced brand strategist with no stake in the result shows you how it reads from the outside, while it can still be changed.

Who this is for
  • Marketing leads before a campaign launch
  • Companies in the middle of a rebrand or website relaunch
  • Founders choosing between agency proposals
  • Teams using AI to produce brand and marketing content
The process

How it works

  1. Step 1

    You submit your work

Upload your project confidentially — from early concepts and pitch decks to websites, campaigns, interfaces or AI-generated creative work.

  2. Step 2

    I provide a second opinion

Every submission is reviewed independently by a person, not by an automated scoring system.

  3. Step 3

    You receive your audit

Concise observations, blind spots and strategic feedback designed to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence and reassurance.

FAQ

Questions about brand second opinions

Do you review work by agencies?

Yes. Agency concepts and proposals can be reviewed like any other work. The audit gives you an independent basis for the conversation with your agency.

Can you compare two concepts?

Yes. Upload both and say which decision you need to make. The audit compares them against your goals and audience.

Can I share a website or prototype by link?

Yes. Paste the link in the order form, including Figma or staging links. Add access details only if they are required.

Are you an agency?

No. The Audit Room does not take on production work. That keeps the opinion independent of any follow-up mandate.

Is my material confidential?

Yes. A mutual NDA covers every order. Unreleased work is stored encrypted, seen only by the reviewer and never shown as a reference.
